Inspired by the DX6R this new transmitter also has outstanding ergonomics. The Spektrum DX5R can be adapted to suit your driving style with lots of adjustable features and optimized weight distribution. The sense of comfort and balance provided by the DX5R combines superbly with the precision of DSMR technology.

Intuitive SimpleScroll™ Progamming Interface
The SimpleScroll programming interface makes navigating the DX5R’s menus and changing the settings as simple as 'scroll and click'. Most DX5R users will even be able to complete difficult programming tasks without referring to the manual although it’s always good to sneak a peek if you’re unsure.

If your vehicle is fitted with the bonus SR6000T telemetry enabled receiver that comes included with the DX5R you can utilise its built-in telemetry feature. By combining the vibe alert system with the real-time information collected through the telemetry feature you can receive vibration warnings when motor temperature, battery voltage, signal quality etc. reach certain levels defined by you.
Frequency-Agile DSMR® Technology
Avoid any cross interference in noisy 2.4GHz environments with the DSMR technology that comes standard with the DX5R. Exclusive to Spektrum™ this DSMR technology can be used in any type of surface application, including boats, to enhance range and response. The DX5R can also be used with most of the technology in the Spektrum stable including marine specific receivers and DSM2 which means you can use the latest transmitter with your older Spektrum receivers. You’ll only need to upgrade if you’re in busy 2.4GHz environments (competitions) and need the frequency-agility of a DSMR receiver.
The DX5R will give you super responsive connectivity when combined with a receiver capable of 5.5 millisecond frame rates. This equates to an even better response from your vehicle or boat.
250-Model memory and SR6000T telemetry receiver
Can’t remember which SD card had which model stored on it? Don’t worry as the DX5R comes with a huge on board memory capacity that will store up to 250 models making it that much easier to switch between your favourites.
Combining the DX5R with your bonus SR6000T receiver opens up all the available telemetry functions through the 5 channels at your disposal. The SR6000T comes equipped with data ports for voltage, temperature and RPM sensors as well as a built-in telemetry module. If you need more data then an XBus connection for additional sensors is also available.
Programmable Vibe Alerts
Keeping track of your battery voltage levels or any of your telemetry functions is now a lot easier with a variety of programmable vibration alarms. You can set what values trigger these alarms so you are constantly alerted to any telemetry data exceeding your personalised settings.
